Website Readability Test
Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 11:40 PMBeen using the readability statistics of MS Word for your writings? JuicyStudio has a nifty readability test of its own, but this time for websites. The test will help you determine how readable your website's content is.
My lit blog, Slip of the Pen, scored 7.93 on the Gunning Fog Index, approximately the same readability as Reader's Digest and most popular novels. Crimson Crux, on the other hand, got a 9.58 (close to Time and Newsweek).
It goes without saying that photoblogs won't have any use for this site. But if you have a text-heavy site, then it might be worth your time to try the test.
Wow, good grades! (Kainggit...)
